A young Plateau entrepreneur, Akims Mamot has established an ultramodern electronic library and ICT centre for use by poor Nigerians in Mangu.

This according to him was borne out of the desire to add value to life at the grassroots socially and economically.

He said, "It would assist the underprivileged to meet the demands of the global age.

"It will also open doors for employment to graduates and also serve as an e-library for academic research."

Mamot said he is using Mangu as the pilot LGA for the program which hopes to soon be extended to other parts of the state beginning with Mangu/Bokkos Federal Constituency.

The program according to him when fully developed can serve as a Computer Based Test (CBT) center for Joint Administration and Matriculation Board (JAMB) exams.

Presently, Mangu and a number of Plateau LGAs don't have such CBT centers.
