An ex Pulse TV journalist and presenter, Namang Banah is to commence a two-day arts and photography exhibition in Jos today.

The program tagged "We are Artfricans Creative Photography Exhibition" is thought to be the first of its kind in contemporary African photo-arts in Plateau.

In an interview, the 'Black Photos' CEO said the initiative is a creative photography exhibition 'with a twist of reality'.

"This exhibition is a fusion of Photography, Art, Monogram, graphics and real-life mannequin.

"Photos from plateau state landscape, creative photos and abstract, African motif, body paint and brush strokes on the human body, monogram Tshirts, caps, mugs and so on all customized will be available.

"Equally, computer graphics will be on display.

"Real-life mannequin such as live body paint and glow in the dark presentation on a model will also feature."

The project according to Mr. Banah is to promote Plateau's tourism potentials as well as inspire photographers in Jos to "think outside the box".

Exhibitors at the program according to him are Black Photos, Mascoteda, KD Breed, Metaboxmedia and Toks.

Others are Dakshaks NG, Olamide Baritone, Navacs Studios and the event planner Hajarabest among others.

The program billed for 24-26th August, 2017 by 10am - 7pm holds at Chillers Portakabin, before JIB Breweries, Old Airport junction, Jos.

The program will feature direct sales and services of top class art and photography works throughout the period.

The general public is therefore expected to grace the 'historic' event.
