Member representing Mangu/Bokkos constituency at the National Assembly, Hon. Solomon Maren says the rich advice, prayer, visitation and companionship of ex COCIN President, Rev. Luther Chishak will greatly be missed.

Rev. Chishak's death was reported this morning after battling health challenges for some time.

In a condolence message, Hon. Maren said, "Baba has lived a fulfilled life to the admiration of all, his departure even at a ripe age has created a vacuum in our lives."

His message reads:

On behalf of myself family and indeed the very good people of Mangu/ Bokkos Fed Const, received the sad news of the departure of our father, elder statesman, spiritual leader , mentor and Preacher of the Gospel Late Baba Rev Luther Chishak Former COCIN President who has gone to be with the Lord.

Baba has lived a fulfilled life to the admiration of all, his departure even at a ripe age has created a vacuum in our lives; the rich advice, prayer, visitation and companionship will greatly be missed.

I bring words of comfort to Mama, the children, family members, the people of Kerang, the Mwaghavul Nation , Mangu LGA, the COCIN family and Plateau state as whole.

Let's take solace in the fact that " to live is Christ and to die is gain" to those who have fought the good fight and the crown of righteousness awaits them which by no doubt Baba fulfilled.

May his gentle soul Rest In the bosom of our Lord Jesus Christ amen.

Once more my condolences.

Hon. Solomon Bulus Maren MNSE, MHR.
