At least three suspected Fulani assailants are presently undergoing interrogation following an armed attack on travelers in Tahoss village, Riyom LGA, Plateau State.

The attack which appeared to be robbery, Wednesday targeted traders returning from the market.

The suspects were said to have  were battered the victims with sticks and other "dangerous" weapons, robbing them of their monies and other valuables.

The suspects were said to have been nabbed by the Special Task Force (STF) in Riyom after one of the victims escaped and reported the incident.

Three out of 10 suspects were arrested and handed over to Divisional Police Headquarters, Riyom Local Government Area.

Police authorities have confirmed the incident but have not released any detail as investigations are still on.
