His Excellency Senator Joshua Dariye, representing Plateau Central senatorial district  has condemned the spate of  killings on the plateau, saying it is totally unacceptable to humanity  and a threat to the peace on the plateau.

The distinguished senator made the  remarks on Saturday at his condolence visit to the family of the late Da Moses Gwom,an elder statesman and one time head of service of the state who was murdered in Barkin ladi LGC.

He described the Late Moses Gwom as a gentleman whose nature and inputs to the  peaceful coexistence of the state will be greatly missed and called on the people of Barkin Ladi and the state at large to emulate the deceased in order to restore and foster peace on the Plateau.

On the same note the senator  on behalf of the people of Plateau Central Senatorial district condoles with the people of Bassa and Miango over the recent painful killings and loss of lives.

He is assuring the people that all hands are on deck to arrest the situation and to apprehend all the  culprits.

He implored all the peace loving people of Plateau state to be vigilant and to promptly report any unusual movements by unidentified persons within the state to the security operatives.

The senator prayed that God will bring an end to this unholy and inhumane acts.
Plateau citizens should not hesitate to report any security breach/threat to the appropriate authorities
