A young Plateau entrepreneur, Arch. Macham Makut has launched a welfare support campaign for the 300 persons displaced in the recent Fulani attacks in Josho village, Daffo chiefdom, Bokkos LGA.

Makut, a practicing architect, radio on-air-personality and an online business mogul announced the move on a radio programme on Tin City FM, Jos on Tuesday while discussing the humanitarian needs in the area.

Touched by a news report by MKBlog on the displacement of the 300 people in the attacks, Mr. Makut commenced the move to help alleviate the sufferings of those affected, he said.

According to him, the campaign is open to partnership from all spirited individuals in and around Plateau State.

He said all donations through cash or kind would be gladly accepted to assist the IDPs.

"Used and new clothes, food items, toiletries and cash donations are all welcomed," he said.

Makut who hopes to deliver all donations to the IDPs on Monday next week in the most transparent manner said donations can come through Tin City FM, Bukuru or him.
