Gov. Simon Lalong of Plateau State says his administration may have not been perfect in its selection of partners to help drive its rescue agenda, but has been conscious of the interest of the state in this regard.

Swearing in his newly appointed commissioners at the new government house in Rayfield, Lalong said his government has done a thorough job in assessing the capacity of its appointees.

Similarly, the government in determining who gets what in the latest appointments adhered strictly to the constitutional provisions of State Character, he said.

Lalong however accepted responsibility for any 'human' error noticeable in the process.

He said, "I take responsibility for any human errors which time would allow us correct in the near future for the greater good of our dear state."

The governor assured that his administration will continue to accord priority to teamwork and people oriented policies while tasking the commissioners to justify the trust reposed on them.

Responding on behalf of the newly sworn-in commissioners, the appointed Commissioner for Information, Yakubu Datti assured that the new appointees might not be the best, but having been considered for the tasks, they wouldn't fail.
