A member of the Nigerian House of Representatives, Hon. Solomon has expressed pain over the plights of people displaced by violent herdsmen attacks in Daffo, Bokkos LGA, Plateau State.

Maren delivering relief materials to the IDPs in Bokkos town however enjoined them to forgive their aggressors.

The lawmaker whose native village is located few kilometers away from Daffo, said he was doing all he could to facilitate the return of peace in the area.

Maren who represents Mangu-Bokkos Federal Constituency therefore commiserated with the Daffo Community over the "unfortunate" attacks.

Hon. Maren's visit to the IDPs commenced with a homage to the District Head of Daffo to commiserate with him and the good people of Daffo over the crisis that took place.

He then proceeded to COCIN RCC Daffo where he addressed the internally displaced persons there and donated relief materials to them.

From Daffo town,  Hon Maren and his entourage moved to Bokkos town where he addressed another set of internal displaced persons who fled Daffo.

He donated relief materials ranging from bundles of Zincs,  bags of rice,  bags of Maize, bag of garri, cartons of soap,  cartons of Maggi, wrappers, mats, and sacks of slippers alongside others. 

The relief materials were received on behalf of the IDPs by Rev. Samuel Matawal Masok who appreciated the lawmaker for the gesture.

Mrs. Bilkisu Mafwala an internal displaced person also appreciated the lawmaker but called on Government to restore normalcy in the affected villages to enable them return home.

Hon. Maren was accompained by his wife, Engr Victoria Maren, Hon. Micheal Abi the Chairman of Bokkos PDP, Prof. Barnabas Mandong, Rt. Hon. Titus Alams, Hon. Monday Kassah, Hon. Moses Dongo, Hon. Akans Talpack, Hon. Vincent Arings, Commander Garry Matiyek (Rtd) and others.
