A philanthropist and Gubernatorial Aspirant under the Social Democratic Party (SDP), Chief Emmanuel Bello has condemned in strong terms the "terrorist" attack on a mosque in Mubi, Adamawa State yesterday.

Chief Bello, in a statement on Wednesday described the attacks as Carlos and inhumane.

"According to initial reports, at least 24 civilians, were killed and at least 35 others injured in the attack which took place Tuesday 1st may 2018,  afternoon. The actual number could be higher.

"The attackers detonated  the bomb in the busy Kasuwa Gwanjo Mosque in Mubi.

“There is simply no justification for this egregious attack, which is specifically prohibited by all religion.” He said.

Bello in the statement expressed solidarity with "the good people of Adamawa who are praying fervently unity and peace in the state and Nigeria" while praying for the families, health and souls of those affected.
