A nongovernmental organization based in the United States of America has awarded five Plateau citizens for their outstanding performances in their respective areas of endeavour.

The organization known as Kor Bara Kor Foundation during its 2018 Integrity award night held at the Ladi Kwali Hall, Sheraton Hotel, Abuja singled Miss Sahmicit Solomon, also known as Sak'Solo' of PRTV, Jos as its Best Voice Over Artist in Northern Nigeria.

The Foundation also awarded Miss Plateau, 2017, Abigail Zero Kim for her contributions to humanity.

Similarly, the NGO slammed the award for the "Most Inspiring Personality Northern Nigeria, Female Category" on Mrs. Jiritmwa Morgak Goyit.

The "Outstanding Youth Leader" award went to Humphrey Iroegbu while Urbanus Botsha aka Murphy Dread of Ray Power Abuja took home the "Best Radio Presenter Award".

Speaking on behalf of the Plateau recipients of the awards, the 2017 Miss Plateau, Miss Abigail Kim said the awards have spurred them to do more for humanity in their respective callings.

She expressed delight to know that the "little" they were doing was "actually a lot".

The KBK Foundation at the event launched a magazine titled Yuuge (Huge) to honour the "huge" impacts young Nigerians are making around the world, proceeds of which it says will be used to support less privileged persons in the society, who are the target beneficiaries of its activities.
