A special TV Documentary titled "The National Social Investment Programme, The Plateau State Perspective will be aired today Thursday the 14th June 2018 on PRTV by 8:30pm.

The programme aimed at poverty alleviation has been an initiative of the Federal Government, implemented in various states of the federation.

Here in Plateau State, the programme has been directly under the Office of the Executive Governor and supervised by a State Focal Person who doubles as an Executive Assistant to the Governor on the programme.

She is Dr Sumaye Hamza, a retired Permanent Secretary from the Plateau State Civil Service.

Recently, Plateau State has been granted the privilege to commence the next phase of the programme among other states of the federation because of the successes it has recorded in the first phase.

The Documentary will look at the journey so far and work towards making the next phase better.
