Former Plateau State Commissioner of Finance, Hon. Davou Mang is set to submit his nomination form for participation in the 2019 General elections.

Mang who is aspiring for the State's Barkin Ladi/Riyom Federal constituency seat in the Nigerian House of Representatives is believed to be the first aspirant in the entire state to reach this stage having completed the application processes, formalizing his 2019 election bid.

Aspiring under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Hon. Mang says his desire is lead the security troubled constituency out of its present socioeconomic travails through meaningful legislations.

His mantra being "Trust" according to him is symbolic of his readiness to uphold public trust when given the mandate.

In a brief parley with media experts yesterday, Mang disclosed his resolve to remain accessible and listening regardless of his official engagements.

"I am not seeking to go to Abuja (National Assembly) alone, but rather seeking to take all of us there.

"This is not my mandate but a mandate for all of us," he said.

In seeking to run for the legislative seat, Mang has not only consulted widely amongst stakeholders in the State but is also rooting himself in prayers.

MKB learns that the submission of nomination form by the former State official is to be preceded by a powerful prayer session at his Jos residence.

It is not sure if participation is open to all but Mr. Mang is widely regarded as a friend to all.
