A Plateau State Governorship aspirant of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party PDP, Sen. Victor Mainasara Lar has vowed to accord priority to Industrialization that will turn around the fortunes of the state.

Lar said the state has the capacity to be self-sustaining independent of Federal allocations but has been economically crippled by 'incompetent' leadership.

Addressing Exco and party members on his desire to run for the number one seat in the 2019 general elections, the ex Senator highlighted his planned programs to include, Security, Agriculture and Industrialization.

He equally pledged an "inclusive and purposeful" administration with justice as his watchword.

"I have made a researched, and from the study I have undergo, we can turn this state to make 5 billions naira monthly as internally generated revenue.

I will establish industries that will create jobs for about 2000 to 5000 people and if we have like two to three of such, then imaging how many people would be employ.

Plateau state rely on Federal allocation, and when there is no such allocation there will be no salary for civil servants. If u give me the mandate and I become a governor, I will create more revenue that we wouldn't be depending on FG" he said.

Responding the PDP state Chairman, Hon. DT Sango said among all the 13 Candidates that have picked the party nomination form, the worse among them is far better than governor Lalong.

He assured all the aspirants in the party of level playing field and pledged to work with whoever will emerge victory at the end, urging all the aspirants to meet and campaign for the delegate freely and sale themselves.

DT Sango called on all party supporters to be law abiding citizens and shouldn't be trigger by any provocative statement, actions or in actions of their opposition.
