A Plateau State Senatorial aspirant, Chris Giwa says the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) will not challenge any election results in court.

This is because the party will not allow any party to rig or engage in any malpractice that would warrant court disputes, he said.

Submitting his Senate expression of interest form at the party secretariat in Jos yesterday, the embattled Chairman of the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) said the party aims to win and protect its votes right from the polling centres.

"Rigging is only possible when the electorates allow it," he said charging voters to be vigilant during the State forthcoming Local Government and national General elections.

The onetime Governorship aspirant in the State disclosed that his aspiration is not primarily to win elections but ensure the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) loses "very well" at the polls.

"People have suffered the worst hardship these past three years (of the APC administration) and we must fight to throw them (APC) out for our common good," he stressed.

The self-acclaimed Ambassador therefore urged party supporters to faithfully work for the success of the party regardless of who emerges flagbearer.

"If you only support a candidate, if he loses you will withdraw your support and when you join another party out of selfishness, the will always see you as a bastard who deserves not to be carried along," Giwa warned.

Mr. Giwa is contesting the Plateau Northern Senatorial seat for the second time, an aspiration he insists is not to antagonize his opponents whom he regards as "friends and brothers".
