Nigeria's President of the Senate, Bukola Saraki yesterday swore to end killings by armed bandits in the country's middle belt.

Saraki declaring his intention to run for the office of President in the country's 2019 general elections said under his watch, no one who commits such violent crimes will get away with it.

"I will never let it happen again," he affirmed.

Saraki who has faced opposition from his former party fellows described the current president, Muhammdu Buhari as weak and bias.

He also said the office of the President requires young vibrant minds that "cannot be intimidated but will stand anywhere to defend citizens' rights.

The Kwara state Senator expressed stated that the Middle Belt has served the country enough to deserve a chance to produce the next President, believing he has the capacity to deliver in that regard.
