Information reaching us indicates that Hon. Mang who was clearly favoured by the delegates to win the primary election was sacrificed less than 24hrs to the election.

The plot started immediately after the Governorship primaries where Senator Jeremiah Usaini emerged victorious as against the wish of Senator Jonah David Jang who had preferred Rt Hon. George Daika. Senator Jang felt that Hon D.T. Sango is building a political structure and must be stopped.

The strategy is to support those who oppose Sango to assist Jang in the fight. Those who are perceived to be close to Sango must be stopped from emerging as candidates.

To achieve this objective, the Senator is said to have issued directives to Francis Bot, I. D Gyang and others to support and facilitate the emergence of Hon Simon Mwadkon, who is seen as working against Sango and who can checkmate him.

This directive was transmitted through the party structures at the LGA and ward levels at B/ Ladi and Riyom constituency. The primary election had to be delayed for several hours  for effective execution on the pretext that the chairman of the electoral panel was on his way from Kaduna.

Voting started after 9pm. Many people are surprised that Hon Mang who has been and still is loyal and committed to his boss would be treated like this. "Does loyalty count, and is this how loyalty should be rewarded" some asked.

Some people observed that some who were  loyal to the senator had similar Faith in the past.

Some quick examples are: former Dep Governor Longjan, Appostle Chris Bature, Hon Edward Pwajok, amongst others.

Only time shall reveal the implication of this decision to sacrifice the people's choice in order to settle  personal scores.
