The Nigerian Government has unveiled a new portal through which candidates can register for its Npower social investment program.

This follows complaints on difficulties encountered by candidates applying through the previous portal.

Dr. Sumaye Hamza, Executive Assistant to the Plateau State Governor on Social Investment Programme in a statement on Monday evening advised candidates to visit and submit their applications on the new website

Dr. Hamza had earlier in the day announced the opening of the recruitment portal for the Non-Graduate component of NPower tagged “NBUILD”.

Consequently, interested citizens were advised to log on to the then official website of the programme, and sign-up for the Federal Government funded internship.

Following the difficulties in accessing the site which prompted the national office of the program to create a new portal and communicate same to state offices however, Mrs. Hamza has appealed to candidates who have been affected by the previous glitches to be patient.

Registration according to her earlier statement mailed to MKB opened 5th November 2018 and closes on 16th November 2018.

A minimum of Secondary School Certificate of Examination, SSCE is required for the exercise, the statement says.

However, all applicants must have a valid and personal Bank Verification Number, BVN and an active bank account to be considered, Mrs. Hamza said.
