Member representing Barkin Ladi/Riyom Federal Constituency in the Nigerian House of Reps, Hon. Istifanus Gyang has advocated the creation of platforms for youths to explore their talents for enhanced socioeconomic growth.

Popularly called ID (Istifanus Dung) Gyang, the reps member on Sunday regretted that Nigerian youths especially those in Plateau State are blessed with diverse talents with high economic prospects but lack the right markets to thrive.

The Plateau Northern Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Senatorial candidate who was speaking at the 10th anniversary of a Jos based music entertainment firm, La-Rock International Records however pledged to continually push for the formulation of policies that support youth development.

His views coincided with those of his Plateau House of Assembly counterpart representing Barkin Ladi constituency, Hon. Peter Gyendeng who vowed to support youths with leadership qualities to takeover from the present generation of politicians.

He saluted the passion and resilience of the Chief Executive Officer of La-Rock Records, Mr. Gwom Peter Jr in the pursuit of his goals, believing Nigeria's sociopolitical future is bright with such qualities.

Similarly, the PDP House of Reps candidate for Jos South/Jos East Constituency, Mr. Dachung Bagos recalled that most entertainment stars in Nigeria share links with Plateau State, believing the State could improve Nigeria's revenue earnings through entertainment if well exploited.

"All the youths need is the right market to sell their dreams to the world and by the grace of God if I get to the National Assembly, this (youths community) is my constituency and I will ensure that what is right for them to actualize their dreams is given attention," he said.
