Billionaire Afro music star, Davido might have been frenzied by the news of a Jos born gospel music award show coming up later today in the Central Nigerian Plateau State capital.

The show branded Jos Gospel Arts and Music Awards (JOGAMA), otherwise referred to as "The Green Awards" is  organized by Clear-Minds Entertainment based in the famed Tin City featured on a Facebook page believed to be operated by Davido's closest fans.

The page tagged "Davido Fanz" gave a full ad on the event slated for 2pm today Sunday 25th November, 2018 at Sarau Events Centre, Jiyep-Hwolshe behind NTA Jos.

Voting for the awards into various categories officially ended on Sunday 18th November 2018 with over 15,000 votes received, the highest so far in the history of the awards.

The 8 years old award ceremony specifically aims to promote gospel arts towards glorifying God the Master, Mr. Dawasim Luka, the CEO of Clear Mindz Ent. told MKB.

The event which started off as a local show appears to be gaining international popularity going by the votes received which were believed to have come from within and outside Nigeria.

Clearly, "Consistency, integrity and trust from the general public" as Mr. Luka says may have kept it this high.

This year's edition of the awards is expected to witness the launch of the maiden edition of the JOGAMA Magazine, which organizers say aim to "Recognize, Promote, Appreciate and Encourage gospel music artist/ministers and talents in Plateau State."

Entry tickets have been available online at at N1000 only.
