About 200 youths from Central Nigeria's Plateau State are expected to visit Israel by the end of this quarter, to study and replicate its agricultural revolution programs on return.

Sources say the expedition funded by the State government aims to locally revive agriculture and cut youth unemployment.

The trip proposed for March/April according to sources will feature visits to Israeli agro allied industries, mechanized agro plants and irrigation sites among others.

The benefitting youths selected from the 17 Local Governments of the State are expected to translate the knowledge gained into practical agricultural involvement when they return.
