The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Plateau State yesterday observed a minute's silence in memory of the Late Senators Wash Pam, Gyang Dantong and Gyang Pwajok.

The Party's Northern zone stakeholders in the state led by aspiring Senator Istifanus Gyang offered prayers for the families of the deceased as well as the Northern Senatorial District which the trio represented in the Nigerian National Assembly before they severally passed on.

Aspiring Senator Istifanus Gyang, popularly called ID Gyang who moved for the recognition at the inauguration of the party's Northern zone campaign council recalled the physical and economic transformation the late Senators attracted to the state before their passing.

Mr. Gyang who is a Serving member of the Nigerian House of Representatives pledged to build on their legacies in the interest of the people.

The lawmaker was however concerned that the ruling All Progressives Congress party in the State was planning to rig the 2019 elections, but assured that the party was on alert to forestall any such acts.

Similarly, aspiring House of Reps member, Musa Bagos expressed determination to "take the bull by the horn no matter how sharp," to protect the votes from manipulation.

Mr. Bagos who is aspiring to represent Jos South/Jos East Federal Constituency in the Nigerian House of Reps charged his fellow constituents to be on the guard for any signs of malpractice during the polls.

The Party's Northern Zone Chairman, Chris Hassan, his Campaign Council Chairman, Bitrus Kaze, serving House of Assembly member Ibrahim Gyendeng and many others who were part of the recognition on the deceased Senators all vowed to utilize their networks and resources towards the success of the PDP in the coming polls for the advancement of the zone.
