The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Plateau State yesterday accused the State Governor, Simon Lalong of sponsoring the State's Gubernatorial candidate of the Action Democratic Party (ADP) to ruin its chances in the February General elections.

The PDP Chairman, Hon. Damishi Sango at a news briefing in Jos, the Plateau State capital said the idea of funding the party followed several failed actions by the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in the State to lure members of the PDP into its camp.

He however expressed confidence that the "Third Force" mission of the ADP in the state was "dead on arrival".

However, the party is starting off its campaigns today Tuesday 8th January, 2019 "well prepared" with a vision to restore the State," Mr. Sango said.

"We are driven by a conscious and zeal to reverse the downward slide that has become the order of the day in the state in the last three and half years," he said.

He accused the Gov. Lalong administration of rushing to award new project contracts after "sleeping all this while" to "hoodwink" the people of the State into believing it is a caring government.

But the truth according to him is that the electorates are wiser, and would make informed decisions at the ballots next month.
