The Plateau State, PDP Campaign has alarmed that some hoodlums are planning to disrupt its presidential campaign rally scheduled for Saturday January 12, 2019.

Chairman of the Party, Hon. Damishi Sango, Friday said in a statement that "credible information" had been received that sponsored groups are preparing to harrass, intimidate and attack PDP officials, members and stakeholders attending the rally.

Sango therefore appealed to security agencies to act fast and allow for a peaceful presidential outing.

He however cautioned that the party will not tolerate hoodlums trying to replicate what happened on Tuesday January 8, 2019, in Mangu after its gubernatorial campaign flag off when party members were allegedly attacked by groups believed to be APC supporters.
