A Nigerian Foundation has trained dozens of youths in various entrepreneurial skills to make them economically independent.

Namim Creative Foundation believes economic self-reliance will reduce "political thuggery, gangsterism, cultism, robbery and other evil vices" in Nigerian communities.

Director of the Foundation, Mr. Edward Bonkat at the graduation of the latest set of the Nanim Foundation trainees on Sunday said the foundation trains interested individuals in different skills for free as it is a nonprofit organization.

The latest trainees of the Foundation acquired skills in cosmetics making, baking and catering services among others.

The training was held in Church of Christ in Nations (COCIN) Laranto in Jos, Plateau State.
