The Plateau State Commissioner for Physical Planning and Urban Development, Hon. Bulus Bot has said that shifting of yesterday's elections was more disappointing to the APC.

This is because the Party had given the necessary backing to the Independent National Electoral Commission for hitch free polls, he said in an interview.

In addition, Mr. Bot said the Party especially in Plateau State had deployed all logistics needed for the exercise across the 17 Local Government Areas of the State when the shift was announced.

Gov. Simon Lalong of the State according to the Commissioner had instructed all his cabinet members to supervise the distribution of the logistics which was done before the shift.

Mr. Bot however expressed confidence in the possibility of free and fair elections come Saturday.

The shifting of the polls according to him might be divinely arranged, given a special pre-election prayer and fasting summit held by the Christian Association of Nigeria, Plateau State last week.

He equally believes Nigerians will still come out to vote on Saturday despite the suspension.
