The Special military Task Force in Plateau State says it remains neutral in all election matters in the State.

The Task Force has no business with elections, but the peace of the State, its Commander, Major General Augustine Agundi said in a telephone interview.

Although soldiers were deployed to various locations during the last elections, the STF he said has never been directly involved in any electoral decision.

This according to him is because elections are civil affairs which require no military involvement.

Gen. Agundi therefore dismissed allegations of collusion with civil authorities to manipulate election results in the State.

His loyalty according to him is to Nigeria through the Chief of Army Staff and not any civil authority.
