The Plateau Northern Senatorial Candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Hon. Rufus Bature says the best is expected from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) after the successful conduct of the Federal elections today.

Mr. Bature after casting his vote at his polling unit in Gwol, Barkin Ladi said the electoral body is expected to deliver credible results.

"Let INEC conduct itself well and let the people's voice speak," he said.

Despite the late arrival materials at the polling unit, the former Secretary to the Plateau State Government said the exercise was generally peaceful.

He however observed that the deployment of election materials to his polling unit about 4hrs late did not justify last week's postponement of the polls.

"If INEC postponed the elections due to logistics, one would have expected that the existing problems would have been fixed," he said.
