The President of the Church of Christ in Nations (COCIN), Rev. Dr. Dachollom Datiri was yesterday treated to a surprise birthday dinner by his wife, Naomi.

The Church leader who turned 60 yesterday had kept a low profile on the event.

But unknown to him, his wife had secretly summoned some of his management team members along with friends and relations to celebrate him at his residence in Jos the Plateau State capital.

Rev. Datiri who was visibly shocked at the arrangement appreciated his wife for her "deep show of love."

He described his 60 years as full of grace.

"At sixty I feel delighted, I feel so much full of gratitude to God for his grace upon my life, for he brought me out of many near death experiences and has kept me safe and sound up to this time, I felt deeply appreciative to God" he said.

Rev. Datiri reiterated his commitment to the service of God.

His wife, Naomi Datiri said the birthday surprise was in appreciation of his sustained love and friendship towards her.
