The All Progressives Congress, APC in Plateau State says its performance over the past four years were enough to sell its candidates in the 2019 General Elections.

Thus, the Party did not bother much with campaigns knowing it had already won the admiration of the electorates, the State Party Chairman, Letep Dabang said.

The Party's victory is so sure that only celebrations were being awaited, Letep told journalists on Saturday after casting his vote at his Pollong unit in LGA Primary school Zong, Jing District of Pankshin LGA.

His Gubernatorial candidate, Mr. Simon Lalong was also full of confidence in the Party's victory in the polls.

"Everyone is smiling, people are not talking about who will win but how we will celebrate our victory," he said.

Lalong who cast his vote in Primary School Ajikamai, Shendam along with his wife Regina, daughter Stephanie and former PDP Gubernatorial aspirant, Sen. Alexander Lar was impressed with the voter turnout in the polls.

The situation was however slightly different in the polling unit of former Plateau Deputy Governor, Pauline Tallen.

Not many voters turned out for the exercise due to water shortage, Mrs. Tallen said.

According to her, her home Local Government, Shendam had been without portable water supply for long until the morning of the elections.

"Many of them had gone to fetch water and store when I went out but eventually we sent out words to the elders of the community and they were mobilized to the voting centres," the close ally of President Muhammadu Buhari's wife, Aisha told journalists.

Results of the polls in most polling units were still being collated as of the time of publishing this report.
