Local authorities in Plateau State will this weekend award prizes to three outstanding entrepreneurs in Ngas land.

On Friday, women and youths of Ngas origin with good business ideas will be assessed at a "Business Roundtable" where the best three will be awarded prizes, President of the Association, Mr. Gonen Gofwen told journalists, Monday.

The hunt for business ideas by the cultural group aims to challenge women and youths to create outstanding business plans that can translate into 'meaningful' development for the land, Mr. Gofwen said.

Some successful "business strategists" according to him are on the panel to discuss the theme: "The Economy of Ngas land: How do we move forward?"

In his words, the panelists are expected to add value to the budding of entrepreneurs who would be the 'signposts' for business development.

The program will be followed by an endowment fund launch on Saturday during the 2019 Ngas cultural festival locally called Pusdung, intended to provide sponsorship for indigent students of Ngas origin.
