Citizens sit by own homes during lockdown

Central Nigeria: Officials in Plateau State are currently having "engagements" with "critical stakeholders" to find "way forward" on an ongoing lockdown in the State.

"Government is aware of the inconveniences the (covid-19) pandemic is having on livelihoods and is taking every step to ensure that there is relief," Mr. Dan Manjang, the State Commissioner of Information said, Sunday in a press statement.

In the meanwhile, Manjang said the state remains on lockdown from Midnight of Sunday 7th June, 2020 to Wednesday midnight as has been the case for three weeks now.

"In order to abide by the existing lockdown order, the time table for the inspection and Commissioning of Projects (by Governor Lalong) has now been adjusted to when the lockdown is relaxed within the week," the Commissioner said.
